An Underrated, hole in the wall local restaurant! I love establishments like this because it feels like you're family here. The workers & owners are so nice and considerate, and you never have to wait long for your meal.
What I got: Combo plate, small. All the dishes are the same size, the only thing different is the amount of protein you get! It comes with one pita bread and a salad. Honestly perfect to be full! -

I have been supporting this place of business for over 10 years now, tonight was the worst experience I've had in terms of the end product. The customer service here is always polite and professional- no gripes there, this time however, my complaint is about the food.
I called and ordered ahead asking it to be ready by 8:45 PM I get there at 8:44 PM and they forgot to make the order, "no problem, I'm sorry" the owner says, it'll be ready in five minutes. We know her well and I don't complain.
I got my philly sandwich at 9:02 PM and the product I was given was completely abysmal, this sandwich cost me $16 and I am still hungry. I do not recall their sandwich being this tiny, mind you this was just for the sandwich alone and this was there LARGE.
I asked for it to be made extra extra spicy, that wasn't the case. I even asked for an extra side of spicy sauce, and guess what, I didn't get that either.
You either need to rethink these prices or you need to make your sandwiches bigger and more filling.
Your combo plates can feed 2 they're so large, but this philly could never. -

I got the combo platter with lamb and chicken and it was delicious! They have 3 different sizes of house, regular, and large. I got the house size and it was just enough food and I consider myself a strong eater. The chicken is juicy and flavorful and the lamb is tender and tasty. The lamb doesn't have overly gamey taste either which I prefer.
My friend had the kefta and it tasted like a strongly spiced hamburger patty. We both agreed that it was on the dry side and that we preferred the combo plate.
The place itself did not have air conditioning. The workers were accommodating in getting us water and asking us if everything tasted alright. I would come back! -

Good thing about this place is that it Halal, with that said there are a lot of things the matter with this place. Let's talk about the food first, I ordered a Large chicken salad... and wanted to order falafels but APPARENTLY they ran out that day. That was so sad, I almost canceled my order. haha
There was two orders ahead of me, and it seemed like no one was actually making the food when some guy holding a cigarette butt walks in, put it in his pocket (doesn't wash his hands) and starts to cook the food.......... How unsanitary is that?!? He took the meat from this container next to the grill and started cooking.
Chicken Salad: 8oz of meat and barely any salad....The chicken flavor was pretty good, a bit more spicy than expected but I enjoyed it. What i didn't enjoy is the fact that the chicken was pretty dry. First couple of bites were okay, then it became toooo much to chew. But maybe that's normal? There was no dressing given to me....I asked for some yogurt sauce on the side...which made the salad better...I guess.
All in all, I wouldn't come here again. It's nice to say I've tried it. Much rather go to milpitas or fremont for my middle eastern food fix. -
